If Time Allowed One Edit

She walked through pain, her heart ablaze!
Forward is the only Way!

A girl raised with love, values, and kindness in a middle-class family by open-minded, working parents grew up with freedom to choose her own path. She pursued her education, moved to another city for work, made genuine friends, and earned respect wherever she went, not by pretending, but by maintaining healthy boundaries and staying away from drama to protect her peace. She excelled in academics, sports, art, and adventure, living a balanced and fulfilling life.

Then came the phase of marriage

What was supposed to be a honeymoon phase turned into a nightmare. Still, she stayed for years, believing in the sacredness of marriage, commitment, and forever. But when her self-respect was shattered and trust broken beyond repair, she walked away with a heavy heart. Even then, she waited for another year, hoping her husband or in-laws would reach out to mend things. They never did & finally she broke all the bonds related to her marriage mentally.

In the midst of this, her in-laws started pointed fingers at her parental family, accusing them that her parents or siblings didn’t evaluate the groom properly and just married her off But what they failed to see was that the final decision was always between the bride and groom. Instead of questioning her family’s intentions, they should have reflected on their own upbringing, for it was their & their son’s actions that broke the marriage, not her family’s trust.

Amidst the Emotional chaos

She lost her job too. Yet, her loved ones stood by her, only she knew who they are, offering unconditional support and shelter. Despite the pain, she never let bitterness consume her. She could have sought comfort in the wrong places but chose dignity and self-healing instead. When people she trusted failed to understand her, she quietly distanced herself, closing old chapters filled with judgment rather than empathy.

She started rebuilding her life, found another job, and kept moving forward, even as some still wish for her downfall.

Before Marriage

She was content and never wished to change a thing.

Now, looking back, she longs for justice : a refund of the time, love, and effort she poured into a bond that broke her. She regrets staying silent when wronged, regrets not standing up to those who labeled her unfairly.

Her story is a Reminder

Marry late but Marry wise. Or better yet, marriage is not the goal.

True fulfilment lies in finding a companion who understands and stands by you, with or without the label of marriage.

If Life allowed one Edit

She would have denied to marry, the one decision that pushed her into survival mode, made her build walls around her heart, and turned her warmth into guarded silence. This phase didn’t just test her, it changed her. It made her socially distant, emotionally disconnected, and cautious of love. Yet, even through the ruins, she stayed resilient.
