When the Heart and Mind Collide
It’s hard to trust again!
Because trust is expensive. It’s not something you can buy, borrow, or beg for.
It’s something you give, piece by piece, hoping it won’t be broken. But when it is… it leaves behind scars that whisper softly, "Be careful next time."
It’s hard to start again!
Because starting again means facing the same fears, the same doubts, the same memories that once tore you apart. It means rebuilding from the ruins, even when your hands still tremble from the last fall.
It’s hard to decide!
Because every choice feels like a risk, a delicate balance between hope and heartbreak. You question everything: Should I trust again? Should I open up? Should I even try?
It’s hard to even try!
Because trying means believing that maybe, just maybe, things can be different this time. That not everyone will break what you build. That not every story ends in pain.
Despite the fear, despite the hesitation, we try!
Deep down, we know that trust, though expensive, is priceless when it’s real.
And starting again, though hard, is the only way to move forward.
And then comes the greatest battle of all, the battle between the heart and the mind.
The heart whispers, "Go on, give it another chance."
The mind warns, "Don't. Remember what happened last time."
!! It’s always heart versus mind, emotion versus logic, hope versus caution !!
Why is it so hard to align them? Because the heart feels, while the mind thinks. The heart longs to heal, to believe, to love again. The mind strives to protect, to reason, to avoid pain. They both want what’s best for us, yet they speak in different languages. One in feelings, The other in facts.
So, should we listen to the heart or the mind?
The truth is, both!
- Listen to your heart when you need courage, when you need to take that leap of faith.
- Listen to your mind when you need clarity, when emotions blur your vision.
So even when it’s hard to love 💕! Try Again!
Because that’s how we grow, that’s how we heal, and that’s how we truly live.
